So you’re bored at home with T-minus two more weeks of social distancing. You must be thinking, ‘How am I going to survive like this?’ If it’s not the kids eating through house and land, it's those pesky online assignments that give you the same anxiety and stress with the convenience of being at home. Isn’t technology awesome, note the sarcasm. For us here in Trinidad and Tobago, nothing is complete without a good lime, and social distancing is no different. So don’t pull out that last strand of hair just yet, dry those eyes that miss your friends and join the rest of the world in creative quarantine ideas. Here are some things that you can do to wash away that liming tabanca.
Just because you’re inside doesn’t mean that the fun has to stop. Video call a few of your friends and even have the family join in for some group karaoke. Pull out that bluetooth speaker or dust off that old boom box, get some eats and drinks, play a few games, vibe to music and just like that you have a killer inside lime. It’s all about the good vibes and positivity, so make sure everyone participates. Sing along to your favourite songs, have dance battles and show off those dances that you plan on using in the future. If you don’t know how to dance there’s no time like the present, and everyone is at home to teach you. Don’t have internet access, no problem, try popping in a CD of your favourite artiste or flip to your preferred radio station to ease your mind with music. Music with company is sure to improve your mood and take your mind off of things. So in the words of Trinidad Killa ‘Daiz Zess!’ Use music to relieve your stress. Here’s a pop playlist to give you a head start.

I'm comical and enjoy reading, if I had to describe myself in two words they would be eccentric and eclectic. Ask my opinion and I'll give it to you. I really think that individuality must be preserved especially now when we are constantly bombarded with delusions of grandeur via social media.
